This is an entry-level sales opportunity designed for individuals who want to develop real sales skills, earn performance-based income, and build a long-term career in the insurance industry.

You don't need to bring your own leads. Our agency provides prospects for you to contact, and we'll give you the training, technology, scripts, coaching, and sales systems needed to succeed.

Your job is simple: start conversations, qualify opportunities, and create appointments for our licensed insurance sales team.

Top-performing SDRs will have the opportunity to advance into Licensed Insurance Sales Producer, Sales Leadership, and potentially Agency Ownership opportunities.

The Jesse Barrera Agency is looking for a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help fuel our continued growth.

Jesse Barrera is a Farmers Insurance Presidents Council Agent, placing him among the Top 1% of Farmers Insurance agencies nationwide. The agency is growing rapidly, and we're looking for competitive individuals who enjoy talking with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to build a long-term career in sales.

As an SDR, you'll be the first point of contact with prospective customers. You'll work agency-provided leads , build relationships, qualify prospects, and schedule appointments for our licensed sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to learn professional sales while earning performance-based income and advancing into a Licensed Insurance Producer or leadership role. SDR roles commonly focus on outbound calling, qualifying prospects, and setting appointments for licensed advisors.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Contact agency-provided leads by phone, text, and email
• Use modern CRM, automation, and AI-powered sales tools to work more efficiently
• Make high-volume outbound calls to prospective customers
• Respond quickly to new inbound opportunities
• Start conversations and build rapport with prospects
• Identify and qualify potential insurance opportunities
• Schedule qualified appointments for licensed insurance producers
• Consistently follow up with prospects who aren't ready to buy today
• Maintain accurate notes and activities in our CRM
• Follow proven scripts, processes, and sales systems
• Meet daily activity, contact, and appointment goals
• Participate in daily coaching, role-playing, and sales development

Requirements
