Responsibilities

• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
• Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.

Requirements

• Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
• Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
• Enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams
• Detail oriented
• Proactive in problem solving
• Dedicated to customer service
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to effectively relate to a customer
• Ability to explain complex financial issues in understandable terms
• Bilingual - Spanish preferred
• Personal Lines Licenses (must be able to obtain)

This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. Flexible work from home options available.

Compensation: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

• Our office is open M-Friday: 9am-5:00pm; By Appt on Saturday.
• I have been a State Farm agent since 2006.
• Before becoming a State Farm Agent, I was previously employed as a State Farm Employee.
• I am a proud graduate of Illinois State University.
• We currently have 3 team members at our agency.
• We have over 30 years of combined insurance experience in our office.
