Work Environment

You will work primarily in the homes of patients in the Bradenton area, providing a unique opportunity to deliver personalized care in a comfortable and familiar environment. This onsite work setting allows you to create supportive relationships with patients as you guide them through their therapeutic journeys. A typical workweek consists of Monday through Friday, encompassing 40 hours of committed service to our community.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities aimed at optimizing patient outcomes:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, determining their needs and establishing appropriate treatment plans.
• Design and implement individualized treatment programs, creating strategies that utilize evidence-based practices to enhance recovery.
• Monitor patient progress closely, adjusting treatment plans and interventions based on individualized assessments.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about their conditions and the rehabilitation process, ensuring a full understanding of treatment goals.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities to alleviate pain and improve function, in alignment with the physician's plan of care.
• Document all patient interactions and progress diligently, maintaining accurate records to facilitate ongoing care and treatment goals.
• Cultivate strong customer relationships and provide exceptional service, including addressing patient concerns and inquiries.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position allows you to work with a diverse patient population across various specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine. You will play a pivotal role in helping patients regain their functional abilities, manage pain, and learn methods to prevent future injuries. Your dedication to patient care will foster trust and rapport, encouraging a collaborative participation in their healing processes.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• Valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with electronic documentation systems.

Preferred Experience

While experience is not a strict requirement, candidates with backgrounds in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports medicine, or pediatrics will particularly excel in this role. Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive yearly compensation in the range of USD 80,000 - 100,000, complemented by a robust benefits package. Benefits include:
