Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Posture Solutions, you will work onsite, primarily providing home care to patients. The Sarasota location offers a beautiful coastal setting and a supportive community atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities and limitations, utilizing observational and practical assessment techniques to identify functional impairments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at addressing specific orthopedic issues while considering each patient's unique needs, goals, and lifestyles.
• Utilize hands-on therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modality applications to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation protocols, facilitating understanding of progress, expected outcomes, and home care strategies to promote ongoing recovery.
• Maintain meticulous patient records that document progress, treatment interventions, and patient feedback to ensure continuity of care.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and emerging needs, demonstrating flexibility in care delivery.
• Assist patients in learning to properly use mobility aids or therapeutic equipment to promote independence and safety.
• Actively participate in team meetings to review patient cases, share insights, and collaborate on interdisciplinary care approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals with orthopedic injuries or conditions. This includes patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal issues. Qualifications

• Current and active Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or an equivalent qualification; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey complex information to patients and their families.
• Strong observational skills to assess patient needs and progress accurately.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a varied patient demographic, adapting treatment approaches to fit individual personalities and circumstances.
• Knowledge of industry-standard treatment techniques and emerging practices.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including:
