Work Environment

This position is offered onsite, primarily within the homes of our patients, allowing for personal interaction in a comfortable setting. You will utilize specialized tools and techniques for in-home therapy sessions, enabling you to adapt treatments to the specific environments and needs of your patients. Working hours typically span from Monday to Friday, with start times between 8 AM to 9 AM and a flexible option for four 10-hour shifts if preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations to identify movement impairments, pain levels, and treatment needs.
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans that reflect the specific goals and capabilities of each patient.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic technologies to deliver effective interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for each patient, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding therapeutic exercises, preventive measures, and lifestyle adjustments to optimize recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals—such as physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses—to ensure coordinated care and effective treatment outcomes.
• Adapt therapy sessions to accommodate patient progress and changing needs over time, making modifications to treatment plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse population, including elderly patients recovering from surgery, individuals with chronic conditions, and those requiring rehabilitation following injury or illness. Understanding the unique challenges faced by each patient will be crucial to your success in this role, as treatment will often occur in their own homes, necessitating a high level of empathy, adaptability, and communication.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid Florida Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop effective strategies for patient care.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients and their families.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning within the field of physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, with a focus on outpatient and home care settings.
• Experience working with geriatric populations and knowledge of rehabilitation techniques specific to their needs.
• Proficiency in utilizing patient management and therapy tracking software.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
