The role involves performing various cleaning responsibilities to ensure the building is presentable and operational for employees and visitors.Schedule: Monday-Friday 7 A.M.-3:30 P.M.What you will do:Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areasSweep, mop, and vacuum floorsEmpty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal. Night staff also dusts and clean surfaces, including desks, windows and furnitureReplenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paperCleaning of cafeteria equipment before and after breakfast and lunch rush. Night staff organizes tables and chairs in cafeteria at days endFollow all safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals and equipment properlySpot cleaning of door and window glassHave an understanding of inventory levels and replenishment needsEnsure all cleaning equipment is maintained and in good working conditionReport any maintenance or repair needs to the Facilities Services ManagerAssist with setting up and breaking down for events and meetingsEducationHigh School Diploma or GED requiredExperience1+ years Previous experience in commercial janitorial work requiredLicenses and CertificationsMust complete OSHA required training for custodians upon hire RequiredAAA Northeast is proud of our diverse culture, fostered by the many talents, skills, passions, and expertise of our employees.
