Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Current and active Nevada SLP license required
• School-based experience is preferred
• Experience or interest in working with diverse student populations across various grade levels
• Proficient in conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and monitoring progress
• Strong collaboration skills to effectively communicate with educators, families, and other professionals
• Excellent organizational and documentation abilities

Position Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to students from elementary through high school
• Conduct assessments and screenings to identify communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals tailored to student needs
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and participate in IEP meetings
• Consult with teachers, support staff, and parents to support student success
• Provide resources and strategies to staff and family members for classroom and home reinforcement
• Stay current with best practices and participate in ongoing professional development
