Position: Cat Scan Technologist (CT) - Rutherfordton, NC
Salary: $62,816.00 - $84,804.00
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Thursday, 3:00 p.m.-1:30 a.m.
$8,000 sign-on bonus!



Must Haves

Education : Associate's Degree required.

Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS)

Licenses : ARRT with additional certification in CT. If not certified in CT, certification must be obtained within one year of the date of hire or transfer to the position.



How you'll contribute



A Cat Scan Technician (CT) who excels in this role:
Reviews patient history and physician's orders.
Educates patients on procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice when ordered.
Monitors patient condition and responds to changes appropriately.
Prepares equipment and supplies; implements safety standards and performs quality control checks.
Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions.
Positions patients and performs imaging procedures.
Analyzes imaging results, identifies quality issues, and takes corrective action, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures if needed.
Enters, transmits, and reports scan results.
Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed.
Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as assigned.
