Overnight Front Office Supervisor

Summary Hyatt Regency Portland is seeking an Overnight Front Office Supervisor to lead front desk agents, coach associates, and ensure a seamless guest experience. This full‑time, hourly position offers $26.14 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential for night shifts. Supervisors provide leadership, support senior management, and may handle coaching, training, scheduling, payroll, and interviewing. The role collaborates with Front Office, Security, Housekeeping, and Engineering. Responsibilities Welcome guests to the hotel with a friendly and professional demeanor, providing exceptional customer service throughout their stay. Check guests in and out efficiently, processing payments, issuing room keys, and assisting with luggage. Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions. Handle guest requests and concerns promptly, escalating issues to management as needed to ensure satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of guest accounts, including billing information and room assignments. Collaborate with other hotel departments to coordinate guest services and ensure a seamless experience. Assist with concierge services, including making reservations and recommending dining and entertainment options. Serve as the main liaison for night audit operations, including account settlements and communication with guests. Ability to work overnight shifts between 11:00 PM and 7:30 AM, including weekends and holidays. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive and welcoming attitude. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency with computer systems and hotel management software. Desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment. Physical ability to push, pull, or carry up to 35 lbs., and stand for long periods. Experience and thorough understanding of front office operations.
