A law firm seeks a Junior to Mid-Level Fund Formation and Investment Management Associate in New York City, NY. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience and a strong understanding of fund formation and investment management.
Responsibilities
- Assist in fund and management structuring.
- Negotiate with institutional investors.
- Handle secondary sales of LP fund stakes.
- Participate in GP-led fund restructurings.
- Draft legal documents and collaborate with team members.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of fund formation and investment management experience.
- Knowledge of Investment Advisers Act registration and compliance.
- Understanding of the Securities Act related to private investment funds.
- Strong interpersonal skills and work ethic.
Education
JD from an ABA accredited law school.
Certifications
Active member in good standing of the Bar where admitted to practice.

- Excellent document drafting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
