Outside Sales Representative

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Commercial Security & Fire Protection Sales Representative to join a growing team serving commercial clients throughout Florida's east coast. This is a high-impact opportunity for a proven sales professional who understands commercial security, fire alarm, and fire sprinkler systems and can drive new business while expanding existing customer relationships. This role is focused on selling commercial security solutions, including access control, CCTV/video surveillance, intrusion detection, monitoring services, fire alarm systems, fire sprinkler systems, testing and inspection services, and related low-voltage and life safety technologies. The ideal candidate is a self-sufficient hunter with a strong industry network and a track record of generating revenue in either the commercial security or fire protection market. With an established customer base of more than 4,000 commercial accounts, a strong installation team, and consistent inbound opportunities, this position offers significant growth potential for a motivated sales professional. Responsibilities Develop and grow commercial security and fire protection sales throughout the assigned territory. Prospect and secure new logo business across commercial, distribution, industrial, hospitality, healthcare, education, and service-based customers. Expand existing customer relationships by identifying additional security, fire alarm, fire sprinkler, inspection, testing, and monitoring opportunities. Sell access control, CCTV/video surveillance, commercial intrusion systems, monitoring services, fire alarm systems, fire sprinkler systems, inspections, testing services, and related life safety solutions. Conduct customer site visits, needs assessments, and solution presentations. Collaborate with manufacturer partners and product representatives to develop customer solutions. Build and maintain relationships with facility managers, property managers, general contractors, business owners, safety directors, and other key decision-makers. Assist with estimating and proposal development when needed. Partner with operations and installation teams to ensure successful project execution. Negotiate contracts and help move opportunities through the sales cycle. Maintain a strong pipeline and consistently drive revenue growth. Identify opportunities for both new installation projects and recurring inspection, testing, and maintenance agreements. $55,000 to $85,000 base salary + commission - Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Demonstrated success selling commercial security systems, fire alarm systems, fire sprinkler solutions, inspection services, or a combination of these offerings. Experience developing new business and expanding existing customer accounts. Strong understanding of commercial security systems, fire alarm systems, or fire sprinkler systems. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proven track record meeting or exceeding sales goals.
