Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join our growing finance and accounting team. This role will play a critical part in the monthly close process, analysis, internal financial reporting, and supporting a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting skills, experience in a consumer product-based business, and is comfortable working cross-functionally with sales, planning, operations, and external partners. Key Responsibilities Own and execute key components of the monthly close processes Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules Ensure accurate accounting for inventory, cost of goods sold, accruals, and reserves Assist with revenue recognition across subsidiaries and revenue streams Support financial statement preparation in accordance with U.S. GAAP Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting policies Assist with audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries Explain variances and support business insights Support system enhancements, process improvements, and automation initiatives within NetSuite and other IT systems Assist with special projects, including integrations, system implementations, and M&A activity as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required) 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a CPG, manufacturing, or product-based environment Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP NetSuite experience strongly preferred Experience with inventory accounting and COGS required Public accounting experience (Big 4 or national firm) preferred CPA or CPA-eligible preferred but not required Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines Comfortable working in a fast-growing, evolving environment Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams Advanced Excel skills; experience with accounting automation tools Why Join Us Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a growing CPG company Exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional teams Competitive compensation and benefits Career growth and development opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
