Looking for Qualified Interpreters!As a busy interpreting service provider, we are seeking to onboard hard-working, fully-bilingual foreign language interpreters to provide in-person interpretation for our local Nebraska clients. Join our exceptional team and enjoy great job satisfaction along with flexible hours.We have an immediate need for Tigrinya interpreters in the Omaha area.Requirements:Fully bilingualExcellent communication and listening skillsFamiliarity with medical terminologyAbility to maintain strict confidentiality/ HIPPA complianceWe are looking for IN PERSON interpreters only, you must have transportation to attend appointments locallyTechnical skills for learning/using online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required)Must have access to a printerInterpreting experience and/or certification preferredBackground checks and drug screens requiredSchedule is PRN (as needed), part time (or less depending on languages spoken) and is flexible based on interpreter's availability and preferences. However, applicants must have some availability M-F 7AM-5PM as this is when services are typically needed. Please note, this is an independent contractor position with flexible hours. Hours are not guaranteed and are based on availability, languages spoken and client needs. Proof of Vaccination Requirement: As a company providing interpretation services to medical facilities, we require all interpreter candidates to provide proof of vaccination as part of our hiring process. This is necessary to comply with our clients' health and safety requirements. If you have a medical or religious exemption, please inform us, and appropriate accommodations will be considered.
