Description
Piedmont Candy is looking for a motivated Sanitation Technician to help keep our production facility clean, safe, and running efficiently. This role plays a critical part in supporting food safety, production performance, and overall operational success.

What You'll Do
As a Sanitation Technician, you'll help create a clean and efficient production environment by:
- Cleaning and sanitizing production areas and equipment
- Removing candy/product buildup from floors, conveyors, and workspaces
- Supporting deep cleaning projects and facility sanitation initiatives
- Maintaining food safety and GMP standards
- Safely handling sanitation tools, PPE, and cleaning chemicals
- Identifying and reporting safety or maintenance concerns
- Partnering with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams
What We're Looking For
• Previous sanitation, janitorial, industrial cleaning, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Food manufacturing experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and stay productive
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
