Digital Accessibility Specialist

Virtual Vocations Inc

To enhance digital accessibility practices, the full-time Digital Accessibility Specialist will conduct audits, evaluate compliance with accessibility standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement inclusive solutions in a remote setting. Key responsibilities Conduct accessibility audits and assessments using automated and manual testing methods Identify accessibility barriers and provide remediation recommendations for design and development teams Support accessibility training and awareness initiatives across the organization Required qualifications 2-5+ years of experience in digital accessibility, UX, front-end development, or related fields Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.2 standards and digital accessibility best practices Experience with accessibility testing tools and methodologies Familiarity with assistive technologies and HTML/CSS; knowledge of JavaScript preferred Relevant accessibility certifications (e.g., CPACC, WAS, CPWA) preferred
