IP Legal Assistant

CR Fletcher is seeking an Intellectual Property Legal Assistant for a client company. The hiring law firm is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented individual to join their team.

Job Overview

This role is essential in supporting the firm's intellectual property attorneys, focusing specifically on both patent and trademark matters. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal support experience, exceptional research and document management skills, and a comprehensive understanding of procedural law related to intellectual property cases. Duties

This role will include legal assistant duties such as engagement letters, processing expenses, opening matters, etc.

Manage and organize legal documents using document management systems.

Support attorneys in drafting legal documents including patent applications and other intellectual property-related correspondence.

Coordinate communication with clients, patent offices, and other stakeholders to facilitate timely filings and responses.

Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion while maintaining strict adherence to privacy protocols.

Provide executive assistant support such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, securing travel arrangements, and handling correspondence efficiently.

Qualifications

Minimum of one year of legal support experience in intellectual property law.

Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines efficiently.

Proven excellence in both written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft clear legal documents and communicate professionally with clients and colleagues.
