You will lead staff, manage productivity and quality, and support key HIM functions including documentation integrity, deficiency management, release of information, amendment requests, and medical records operations. This role is ideal for a proactive, solutions-oriented leader who can improve workflows, leverage technology, and support multiple sites effectively.Here’s what you will experience working as a Health Information Management Manager:Lead and support HIM staff through hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, and daily operationsOversee day-to-day HIM functions across assigned facilities, including medical records, release of information, and amendment requestsDrive consistency in HIM tools, processes, and best practices across sitesPartner with leadership, physicians, and medical staff to address documentation gaps and improve record completionMonitor KPIs and help resolve documentation issues affecting coding, billing, or record completionPrepare and share performance reports, site visit updates, and operational statuses with leadershipSupport regulatory reviews, accreditation readiness, and compliance with HIM standardsTravel between assigned facilities to provide onsite support and maintain strong relationshipsRequired Skills:Minimum of 4 years of HIM experience, including at least 2 years in a management roleRHIA or RHIT certification requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical skills and ability to lead in a fast-paced environmentProven problem-solving skills with a proactive, collaborative approachAbility to travel between assigned sitesFor this US-based position, the base pay range is $0.00 - $0.00 per year .
