District Sales Manager

Overview Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring a District Sales Manager for the Mid-Atlantic territory. This role reports to the Regional Manager and is responsible for profitable growth and market development of the territory, representing the MBCI brand and product line. Responsibilities Positioned within MBCI’s Commercial Roof & Wall segment, with direct sales to sub-contractors, general contractors & roofing contractors Develops and implements market plans that include customer analysis, competitive insights, growth opportunities, and revenue goals Comprehensive understanding of all products and systems offered by Cornerstone Building Brands in the market Demonstrates a complete understanding of key customers’ business and the critical measures that drive each account Works effectively and collaboratively with all Cornerstone Building Brands internal departments to ensure customer experience is optimized and efficient Ability to work with Operating Systems Qualifications College degree or equivalent work experience 2+ years of proven sales/marketing or sales management experience, 5+ years of experience in Building Materials Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and maintain positive relationships with all Cornerstone Building System’s associates, customers, subsidiaries, agents An understanding of construction process Ability to comprehend and translate architectural plans and specifications preferred Ability to analyze market conditions and competition and develop strategic responses to opportunities Understanding of Drafting, Estimating, and Inside Sales processes Ability to work independently and in a team environment is essential Must be able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously 50-70% travel in market (2-3 overnights per week) EEO: Cornerstone Building Brands is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
