Job Description

• Develop Tailored Treatment Approaches: Assess patients' needs and create personalized therapy strategies that support them in reaching vital functional milestones
• Implement Therapeutic Strategies: Apply evidence-based methods to develop patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and overall daily living abilities
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver comprehensive, whole-person care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide training to patients and their caregivers on therapy modalities to promote continuous improvement at home
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and fine-tune treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on track

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement for ongoing education and post-graduate certifications

Certifications

• An active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
