An immediate opportunity is available for a Pharmacist/Pharmacist in Charge to support a 340B Specialty Pharmacy setting in Bronx, NY. This contract assignment offers a chance to provide critical patient care and oversee pharmacy operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The position is until a permanent pharmacist is secured, providing stability and meaningful work in a dynamic environment.
Location:
- Bronx, NY
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Lunch break: 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient education and support regarding medication therapies to improve health outcomes.
- Manage and mentor pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians, to enhance their clinical knowledge and professional development.
- Oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations, focusing on safety, regulatory compliance, and quality professional practice.
- Ensure adherence to 340B program requirements and maintain patient safety protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication use and patient care.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid New York State Pharmacist License required.
- Open to candidates of all experience levels, from recent graduates to seasoned professionals.
- Strong leadership skills with a commitment to education and staff development.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on regulatory compliance and patient safety.
