Key accountabilities may include: Perform high-volume, high-quality, safe spay/neuter surgeries for public and/or shelter animals. Perform other surgeries as needed for shelter animals Ensuring safe, effective and efficient medical processes from check in to discharge, including follow-up Vaccinating animals and providing quality medical screenings Monitoring the daily health of clients and/or shelter animals Develop and implement treatment plans as needed for animals in shelter and foster Providing medical information to clients and answering questions as needed Train and support any designated persons in all aspects of patient care and efficient/safe clinic practices, while maintaining a professional and positive approach All other duties as assigned Qualifications: DVM degree and license required; high volume spay/neuter experience preferred. Must be able to routinely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
