Job Description

A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a  Machine Operator to fabricate products using production machinery and assembly processes. In this role, you will set up and operate equipment, follow production orders, inspect finished products, and prepare completed materials for shipping. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working around manufacturing equipment, and able to accurately follow production specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, adjust, load, and operate production machinery according to work orders and production requirements
• Review work orders using a computer to determine required materials, quantities, and specifications
• Remove finished products from machinery, pack materials into appropriate containers, and maintain accurate production counts
• Inspect finished products against prints, templates, and work orders to ensure quality and correct labeling
• Remove, clean, and inspect dies and prepare equipment for upcoming production runs

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and read a ruler accurately
• Basic math skills
• Ability to use a computer to review work orders and understand blueprints
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds , with or without material handling equipment
• Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred; work cell environment experience is helpful
• Ability to work around moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, moderate noise, and occasional outside weather conditions

The base pay range for this position is $15.00 per hour , excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
