Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

The RN Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department is a key member of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality, individualized patient care. This role involves collaboration with licensed and unlicensed caregivers to ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and significant others.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care in accordance with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act.
• Implement the Scope of Practice and adhere to the Code of Ethics Standards set by the American Nurses Association.
• Engage actively with the multidisciplinary team to uphold the voice of the patient and support service excellence goals.
• Participate in evidence-based practice and research to enhance patient care quality.
• Collaborate with Nurse Managers and other leaders to fulfill the responsibilities of care delivery.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Georgia.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills in emergency nursing practice.
• Commitment to the Wellstar Values and adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Participation in ongoing professional development and competence enhancement is expected, in alignment with the Wellstar Professional Practice Model.
