A direct client of ours in Vestavia Hills AL is seeking a strong P6 Scheduler to join their team. This is a contract opportunity with a strong right to hire.

• Develop, maintain and optimize detailed project schedules.
• Monitor schedule performance and variance; provide regular status updates to project manager.
• Perform Critical Path Analysis, identify and analyze critical paths/activities to ascertain project completion in time and in budget, including forecasting delays and evaluation of alternative scenarios.
• Lead schedule update and review meetings.
• Identify schedule risk and opportunities.
• Analyze schedule impacts resulting from change orders or scope modifications.
• Support cost/schedule integration, including contractor schedules, and collaborate with Project Controls to ensure accurate progress measurement.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of scheduling experience using Primavera P6.
• Must have a strong understanding of CPM concepts and calculations.
• Must be highly articulate, have clear and analytical approach to problem solving, and strong decision?making abilities. Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
