Strategy Insights & Planning Consultant ZS’s Insights & Analytics group partners with clients to design and deliver solutions to help them tackle a broad range of business challenges. Our teams work on multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging advanced data analytics and problem‑solving techniques. Our recommendations and solutions are based on rigorous research and analysis, underpinned by deep expertise and thought leadership. What You’ll Do Work with project leadership to define project scope, develop approaches, and drive execution across complex client engagements. Lead project task execution by ensuring progress, organizing project data, tracking key deliverables, and coordinating team meetings. Partner with client launch, strategy, operations and commercial teams to support product launch planning and execution. Support launch excellence initiatives by helping clients develop and operationalize brand strategies, launch roadmaps and portfolio plans. Serve as a trusted partner to cross‑functional client teams, ensuring alignment across marketing, operations, analytics and commercial stakeholders. Drive project management and change management activities, including tracking action items, following up on key decisions, identifying risks and maintaining momentum across workstreams. Conduct issue analysis and develop hypotheses around key client business challenges. Design and execute qualitative and quantitative analyses to test hypotheses and generate actionable insights. Synthesize findings into clear recommendations and communicate results effectively to both clients and internal teams. Independently manage client interactions, demonstrate professional polish and proactively identify opportunities to add value. Provide thought leadership and innovative solutions within project teams and practice areas. Participate in business development activities and contribute to internal firm initiatives. Coach and mentor junior team members. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record in business, economics, marketing, psychology, physical or life sciences, engineering, applied mathematics, statistics or a related field. Advanced degrees (MBA, MS, PhD) are welcome but not required. 5.5+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably within life sciences consulting, commercial strategy, product launches, launch excellence, portfolio planning or program management. Experience supporting commercial strategy, product launches, portfolio planning or operational excellence initiatives within the life sciences industry. Strong program and project management capabilities, with experience coordinating complex, cross‑functional initiatives and managing multiple stakeholders. Ability to work independently in a client‑facing environment with limited oversight and training. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage directly with clients and senior stakeholders. Proven ability to drive follow‑up, track action items and ensure accountability across project teams. Strong executive presence, professional polish and a self‑starter mindset. Demonstrated experience navigating ambiguity and solving unstructured business problems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel. High motivation, strong work ethic, maturity and personal initiative. Aptitude for leading and managing teams in a collaborative environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality work. Analytical problem‑solving skills combined with a creative and innovative approach. Client service orientation with a client‑first mentality. Collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively across functions and teams. Fluency in English.
