Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)

Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.

Required Skills / Certs:

• NIH, Neuro exp preferred

Job Details:

• *This is a Neuro Unit
• Ratios: 1:6
• Shift: NIGHT 36 or 48 hours accepted. If 48, then no OT billed until after 48 hours.
• 13-26 weeks accepted
• RTO: 7 days MAX; Float Requirement: yes, travelers float first
• Weekend Requirement: 5-6 weekend shifts (equates to every other weekend)
• Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.

Must have a teamwork approach and meet Novant behavioral expectations in all interactions with patients and staff. Must be able to adhere to Call off policy - STRONGLY ENFORCED.

Submission Details:

• Candidate must go into the lab within 48 hours after signing. All testing must be completed within 48 hours.
• Former Novant/New Hanover employees (PERM/PRN/EP) must wait 12 months before applying. Disclosure required (with hospital name/dates employed) at submission; facility approval needed.
• Current travel Per Diem clinicians aren't eligible for travel contracts they must choose one. Include status and intent in the submission.
• Local candidates (50 miles): Lower rate applies.
• RTO: Up to 7 days auto approved (no holidays). Must work 2 of 3 major holidays. No RTO during first week. All RTO must be pre-approved. Cannot request additional RTO after signing.
• NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal.
• Floating: Candidates must be open to floating within/near facility per job description.
• Travel pairs: Allowed (must be on different units and disclosed).
• Charting: See job description.
• Modules: Pre-start modules are non-billable, time spent on modules should be margined separately from orientation hours. Acute Care: ~8-10 hours of modules Non-Acute: ~4-5 hours of modules Must be completed pre-start and annually (varies by specialty) Conducted online - must use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge as your browser
