What You'll Do

As a CNC Operator, you will play a critical role in keeping production running efficiently while ensuring quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include:

• Operating CNC mills and lathes in a production setting

• Making basic machine adjustments, including feeds and speeds

• Performing tool changes and monitoring tool performance

• Troubleshooting machine alarms and minor production issues

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, setup sheets, and work instructions

• Inspecting finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments

• Maintaining quality standards and meeting production goals

What We're Looking For

Qualified candidates will have:

• 6 months to 3 years of CNC operating experience, or completion of a machining trade school program

• Experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes

• The ability to accurately use precision measuring equipment

• A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Manufacturing and machining experience preferred

Preferred Equipment Experience

Experience with any of the following equipment is a plus:

• Haas Mills and Turning Centers

• Mori Seiki Mills

• Kitamura Mills

• Fanuc RoboDrills

• Fanuc Controls

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MINNEAPOLIS, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
