Position Overview We are currently looking for a Certified Cath Lab RN to play a key role in our cardiovascular care unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures, providing crucial support to the cardiac care team, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care in the Cath lab. Responsibilities Prepare and set up the catheterization laboratory for diagnostic and interventional procedures. Assist the cardiologist and other healthcare professionals during cardiac catheterization and angiography procedures. Operate and maintain specialized Cath lab equipment, ensuring its proper function and safety. Monitor patients' vital signs and provide appropriate care during procedures. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and procedure documentation. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care and munication. Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment. Participate in the on-call rotation schedule as needed. Qualifications Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CCT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential. Current CPR certification. Minimum of 2years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist. Proficient in operating cath lab equipment and imaging systems. Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and cath lab procedures. Excellent munication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. mitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
