Rise Up Restaurants is the corporate home of Pizza Patrón and one of the largest Wingstop franchisees in the country , operating more than 220 restaurant locations across multiple states. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a detail-oriented, motivated Staff Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team in San Antonio, TX .

What You'll DoAs a Staff Accountant, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records while supporting the month-end close process and daily accounting operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and posting GAAP-compliant journal entries
- Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Reconciling general ledger accounts
- Performing bank and credit card reconciliations
- Preparing and filing sales tax reports
- Supporting the Accounts Payable process
- Assisting with revenue reporting and financial analysis
- Supporting payroll functions (experience preferred)
- Researching discrepancies and resolving accounting issues
- Assisting with special projects and process improvements as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2–3 years of accounting experience, including month-end close
- Experience working with accounting software and ERP systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
