Associate Director, Genomics Business Development
IQVIA
Q2 Solutions, an IQVIA clinical trial laboratory services organization, seeks an Associate Director for Genomics Business Development to secure and expand business through consultative sales activities with clinical sponsors in the Valencia and San Diego areas.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and identify new business opportunities within assigned customer accounts and establish sales plans
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and maintain high visibility
- Coordinate proposal development and lead cross-functional sales presentations with internal teams
- Monitor competitive activities, positioning, and pricing to inform strategy
- Serve as liaison between customers and IQVIA technical and operational groups
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management
- 10 years related experience including 3 years in CRO, pharmaceutical, or sales roles
- Proven track record engaging mid-level and high-level business contacts
- Strong organizational, planning, and project management capabilities
- Excellent analytical skills and industry awareness of life sciences trends
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
