Social Circle Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is looking for an experienced Business Office Manager to join our team!

Hours: 8am-5pm

Essential Functions of Position:

• Responsible for management, oversight, and completion of business office processes consistent with company policies, procedures and standards

• Directs billing functions, including accurate invoicing of all client services. Ensures reimbursement from clients or client representatives in compliance with company standards

• Responsible for daily accounting and reporting of resident census tracking

• Work with resident or resident designee to ensure Medicaid applications have been filed

• Monitors services provided will be reimbursable

• Maintains all required and appropriate logs

• Consults with department heads to resolve errors in accounts

• Reconciles accounts and provides financial reports to Administrator upon request

• Interacts with the general public, visitors, families and residents

• Receives and deposits payments in an accurate and timely manner. Records the details of financial transactions in appropriate ledgers.

• Formulates procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of resident financial records

• Understands and adheres to the guidelines of "Resident Rights"

• Performs additional duties as assigned

Education Requirements:

• 3 years of medical office experience  preferred

• SNF experience preferred.

• Must have working knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting in a health care setting including Medicare, Medicaid and third-party benefit verification
