As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through professional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed12:30 AM - 08:00 AMThur12:30 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Complete required incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
