Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat05:00 PM - 12:00 AMSun05:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a government location. Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, authorizing entry, and/or documenting visitor and contractor activity in accordance with site protocols. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or emergency personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or potential policy violations. Prepare clear reports of access activity, incidents, and/or daily observations to support site operations and security-related documentation requirements. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
