As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols. Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.23 / Hour Job Schedule: Saturday: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sunday: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and driver logs, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas. Observe access points, vehicle entrances, and restricted areas; report suspicious activity, unauthorized access attempts, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter, documenting observations and completing required reports. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
