Specialty Representative/Sr Specialty Representative - Primary Care - Los Angeles Central, CA

Amgen seeks a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative for the Los Angeles territory to promote pharmaceutical products and drive sales to medical professionals. The role involves delivering clinical product knowledge, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and communicate clinical benefits
• Achieve territory sales targets through branded messaging, educational programs, and in-person and virtual engagement
• Develop and manage customer relationships, customize interactions based on customer needs, and resolve reimbursement issues
• Analyze business effectiveness of sales activities, provide marketing feedback, and develop territory plans with District Manager
• Partner with colleagues to share best practices and support brand building while focusing on patient outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree with 4 years of sales experience, or high school diploma with 6 years of sales experience
• Sales experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, medical device, or related industries preferred
• Product or hospital sales experience in oncology, cardiology, inflammation, nephrology, dermatology, or related therapeutic areas preferred
• Advanced relationship-building and influencing skills with focus on sales outcomes
• Adaptability with core competencies in sales planning, technical knowledge, communicating with impact, and driving results

Compensation: $89,880–$121,602 base salary annually
