Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing expert physical therapy services in a vibrant educational setting near Aberdeen, MD. This school-based position spans from August 19, 2026, through June 15, 2027, working weekdays from 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM, totaling 35 hours weekly. You’ll work across 10 schools, serving a diverse PreK–12 student population of about 20, with a caseload balanced between direct therapy and consultative services. As a valued team member, you will also supervise a dedicated PTA.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapy license applicable to school-based practice
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary staff, families, and administrators
• Experience supervising Physical Therapist Assistants or similar roles
• Comfortable managing a mixed direct/consult caseload ranging PK–12

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy interventions for students in both direct and consultative formats
• Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans within the educational environment
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with school and therapy standards
• Oversee and guide the work of a PTA, fostering professional growth and ensuring quality of care
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for staff and families, providing support and recommendations
• Adapt to serving across multiple schools, managing schedules and priorities effectively
