About the Team The Workday Success Plans (WSP) Delivery Team focuses on ensuring customers maximize the value of their Workday products. The team supports customers’ post go‑live journey by delivering feature assessments, deployments, and programs that help them adapt and grow within Workday. About the Role We are seeking a Senior Functional Consultant – Talent Acquisition to help customers overcome HR technology challenges and drive high levels of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will facilitate collaboration, explain complex concepts, and support customers in leveraging Workday to achieve their business goals. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service and support. Engage customers to understand business requirements quickly. Share industry practices and work with customers to design solutions. Independently manage challenging situations and multiple engagements. Develop and demonstrate system configuration solutions, articulating product capabilities and the benefits and risks of design decisions. Support multiple customers concurrently on short‑duration projects. Conduct troubleshooting of product configuration and provide optimal configuration to meet business requirements. Communicate solutions and value to customers clearly and effectively. Partner with an Engagement Manager to deliver services such as Feature Adoption Workshops, Functional Reviews, Health Checks, Collaboration Crews, Accelerator Webinars, Feature Acceleration, and Tenant Reviews. Qualifications Senior Functional Consultant – Talent Acquisition with 5+ years of Human Capital Management software and consulting experience on medium or large enterprise HRIS projects. 5+ years of experience with Recruiting and Talent Acquisition product area. 3+ years of Workday Consulting experience or experience as a Workday SME. Solid grasp of HR related systems and processes. Detailed understanding of Workday concepts and new feature releases in Core HCM, as well as cross‑application features. Certified or ability to certify in Workday HCM Products and to deploy the solutions effectively. Experience influencing, interacting, and collaborating with senior leaders internally and externally. Capable of leading and influencing design meetings toward effective and collaborative outcomes. Ability to deliver results while managing to a project plan. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with global implementations is preferred. Ability to work on multiple engagements simultaneously. Strong critical thinking skills for understanding complex technical process issues and facilitating decision making. Bachelor’s degree or related experience required. Ability to travel up to 10%. Benefits Primary Location: USA – Illinois – Chicago. Base Pay Range: $122,800 – $184,200 USD. Additional US Locations: $111,000 – $197,300 USD. Potential eligibility for a Workday Bonus Plan, role‑specific commission/bonus, and annual stock grants.
