Designer, Consumer Creative Design

Location: New York, New YorkJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $50 - 55 per hourWe are seeking a mid-level Designer with a cinematic visual edge and strong media/entertainment background to build out modernized creative capacity across consumer brands.Working under the guidance of an Art Director, you will handle hands-on execution from concept to completion-translating creative strategy into key art, billboards, digital assets, and scalable design systems across multiplatform environments.Responsibilities:Creative Execution (45%): Concept and execute campaign creative, visual identities, key art, out-of-home advertising, paid social/digital assets, photo briefs, and motion graphics.Collaboration & Project Delivery (30%): Partner with Brand, Multiplatform, Marketing, and Production teams to manage deliverables, incorporate feedback, and present concepts.Visual Excellence (15%): Apply strong typography, color theory, image comping, and composition to maintain brand consistency and deepen audience engagement.AI & Innovation (10%): Utilize emerging generative AI tools and evolving workflows to optimize visual exploration, concepting, and design execution.Qualifications:Experience: 3-5 years of graphic, visual, or brand design experience within entertainment or media marketing (network/streaming background preferred).Technical Mastery: High fluency in Adobe Creative Cloud, with advanced skills in Photoshop (heavy image comping, photo manipulation, and key art creation).Generative AI Fluency: Demonstrated experience using AI tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, Claude) for prompting, proof-of-concept, visual exploration, and image modification.Figma Knowledge: Functional working knowledge of Figma for visual asset creation.Portfolio: Strong portfolio demonstrating high-end visual storytelling with a cinematic aesthetic, heavy image comping, and multi-format versatility across OOH, digital, print, and social.Soft Skills: Exceptional creative problem-solving, strong communication, adaptability, accountability, and the ability to collaborate in matrixed team environments.Nice-to-Haves:Experience with retouching, talent/photo shoots, or After Effects motion graphics.Familiarity with marketing tools such as Iterable or Stensul.Working knowledge of UX/UI principles, responsive design, basic HTML email structure, and web accessibility standards.JOBID: 082026-145051#LI-CELLA#LI-MM2Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.At Cella, a randstad digital company, we welcome people of all abilities and want to ensure that our hiring and interview process meets the needs of all applicants.
