Senior Developer

Senior Developer BNY Mellon is seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, and AngularJS. This role involves building scalable, high-performance web applications and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, modern, and user-friendly solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable web applications using Java (Spring Boot) on the backend and Angular on the frontend. Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and fellow developers to transform business requirements into technical deliverables. Implement dynamic and responsive user interfaces using Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript following UI best practices. Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices to support seamless integration between front-end and back-end components. Write clean, efficient, reusable, and testable code; participate in code reviews to ensure engineering excellence. Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security. Work with various database technologies (SQL/NoSQL such as MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB) and ORMs to manage and model application data.
