HealthPlus Staffing is assisting one of the most established Hematology/Oncology centers with their search for an Insurance Verification Specialist to join their team in Orlando, FL.
Job Description:
- Position: Insurance Verification Specialist
- Location: Orlando, FL
- Start date: ASAP
- Structure: Full Time
- Schedule: Mon-Fri from 8am - 5pm
- Pay: $16-$18/HR (Commensurate on experience)
- Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, PTO, Paid Holidays, Life insurance, profit sharing, bonuses, and more
Duties:
- Checking eligibility & benefits for all scheduled patients
- Verifying insurance and documenting insurance benefits via EMR
- Add on and STAT verified patients promptly
- Collaborate with Auth/Ref coordinators and other staff members
- Supply co-pay logs for all locations using excel spreadsheet for services rendered
- Answer phone calls and assist patients with billing questions
