Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in an engaging school environment. This full-time contract position runs through June 9, 2027, offering the chance to make an ongoing impact in a dynamic educational setting. You’ll work onsite, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, collaborating closely with a dedicated team at a vibrant elementary campus in the Santa Monica area.

Qualifications:

• Valid and active COTA license in California required
• Demonstrated experience in school-based occupational therapy
• Familiarity with elementary-aged caseloads
• Skilled in delivering interventions to support student success in academic environments
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with teachers, staff, and families
• Must be available for a Zoom interview

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to elementary students
• Support student participation and engagement in classroom and campus activities
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement effective strategies and accommodations
• Monitor and document student progress, contributing to IEP meetings as needed
• Maintain compliance with all school district and state guidelines
• Create a positive, supportive environment that fosters independence and learning
