Senior Mechanical Engineer - Automation

Responsibilities Lead mechanical design of automation systems, equipment, and tooling, integrating mechanical, pneumatic systems. Develop advanced concepts, layouts, and specifications for new automated equipment and enhancements to existing systems. Oversee creation of detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings, ensuring accuracy and manufacturability. Drive prototype development, evaluate performance, and refine designs for reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Manage project timelines, engineering workflows, and cross‑functional communication to ensure successful project execution. Conduct detailed design compliance reviews and implement modifications based on test results and production feedback. Provide mentorship, technical leadership, and direction to junior designers and project team. Support long-term product and equipment evolution through continuous improvement and lifecycle design updates. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Design Engineering or equivalent experience. 5+ years of mechanical design experience within a manufacturing or automation-focused environment.
