A-Line Staffing is now hiring Call Center Patient Services Specialists in Pittsburgh, PA 15275! The Call Center Patient Services Specialists would be working for a Major Fortune 500 Company and have career growth potential.

Call Center Patient Services Specialists Highlights:

• Schedule: 40 hours per week, will be assigned an 8hr shift between 8AM and 8PM (must be flexible to work any shift between 8am-8pm)
• Pay Range: $16.50 per hour

Call Center Patient Services Specialists Responsibilities:

• Manage the patient’s financial journey from start to finish, including benefits investigation, prior authorization support, and enrollment in financial assistance programs.
• Handle inbound and outbound communications with patients, prescriber offices, and third-party providers to clarify medical and pharmacy coverage, benefits, and related inquiries.
• Resolve complex insurance rejections requiring follow-up with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance payors.
• Manage the full authorization process, including prior authorizations, appeals, and medical tier exceptions.
• Initiate, review, submit, track, and follow up on authorization requests to ensure timely processing.
• Coordinate enrollment in manufacturer-sponsored assistance programs and other financial support resources.
• Serve as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, insurance companies, and program sponsors.
• Ensure accurate documentation, timely processing, and efficient, courteous communication throughout the patient access process.

Call Center Patient Services Specialists Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6 months to 1 year of customer service or call center experience.
• Familiarity with medical and/or pharmacy terminology.
