Business Analyst

The Enterprise Data Lake team is seeking a Business Analyst to act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. This role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, profiling source data, and ensuring data modelers and engineers have clear, actionable information to support delivery. Working closely with clients and internal teams, the Business Analyst will drive requirement clarity, maintain traceability throughout the project lifecycle, and support successful solution implementation. Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows. Own the Source Discovery process by profiling source data, identifying keys and business concepts, and creating detailed handoff documentation for data modelers. Translate business needs into clear, testable requirements that support development and delivery teams. Create and maintain Jira stories, spikes, and project documentation. Facilitate communication between stakeholders, Product Owners, and technical teams. Conduct data analysis using SQL to identify and validate source data requirements. Support gap analysis, user acceptance testing (UAT), and requirements traceability throughout project delivery. Capture meeting outcomes, track action items, and ensure follow-up on open issues. Required Qualifications Experience as a Business Analyst gathering and documenting business requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. Experience working with SQL and analyzing source data. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, user stories, and Jira. Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently in a client-facing consulting environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Databricks and Azure. Exposure to enterprise data platforms, data lakes, or data warehousing environments. Experience working with utility, billing, customer, or account-related data. #J-18808-Ljbffr Agility Partners
