Role Summary

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including vascular, obstetric, gynecological, small parts, and abdominal imaging
• Ensure a comfortable and safe environment for patients during procedures by clearly explaining each phase with kindness
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain ultrasound equipment, reporting any malfunctions without delay
• Accurately log procedures and maintain updated patient records in the electronic medical system
• Remain informed about advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices

Educational Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a pertinent field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Necessary Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or similar
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
