The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Walker region seeking Quoting Specialists. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidatesnot just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate and timely price quotations to customers.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to determine cost estimates.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and production teams to gather necessary information for quotes.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to secure orders.
• Maintain and update a comprehensive database of pricing, products, and customer information.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest alternative materials or processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a quoting or estimating role within manufacturing.
• Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills for accurate cost calculations.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with sales, engineering, and production.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Certification in a relevant field (e.g., CPIM, CSCP)
• Proficiency in a second language
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and terminology
