About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director for Defense SATCOM Sales to spearhead business growth in U.S. Military and Defense SATCOM markets. The successful candidate will be tasked with strategic sales leadership, business development, and the full sales lifecycle from opportunity identification to deal closure. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or business development within U.S. Military/Defense markets, with a strong preference for candidates with a technical background in Satcom, aerospace, or defense electronics. The Executive Director will be responsible for expanding the company's market presence by establishing and nurturing strategic relationships with key decision-makers and influencers. Key responsibilities include collaborating with internal stakeholders to define and execute sales and marketing strategies, leading commercial negotiations, and maintaining long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and presentation skills, a professional temperament, and the ability to manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment. A high level of technical proficiency, a proactive approach to business development, and the ability to represent the company with the highest standards of integrity and ethics are essential. The role also demands a strong work ethic, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to work effectively across teams.
