Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg with telemetry experience is sought for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. The start date is 09/28/2026 for an estimated 17-week assignment. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical patients with telemetry monitoring
- Perform comprehensive assessments; develop and update care plans; administer medications and treatments per orders
- Monitor telemetry readings, vitals, and clinical status; respond to rhythm changes and escalate to the physician as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team; participate in rounds; document care accurately in the electronic medical record
- Support unit operations in expanded roles as assigned (charge nurse, preceptor, committee member) and assist with staff orientation when appropriate
- Maintain patient safety and infection control standards; ensure continuity of care and adherence to established policies

Requirements
- Current New York RN license (active)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Telemetry experience required
- Minimum 2 years RN clinical experience
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays; on-call/callback as needed
- Education: RN licensure in New York
