Title
Registered Nurse - Complex Care Unit

Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- BLS certification
- NIHSS certification (valid at the time of submission)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Previous charge experience required
- Patient ratio experience of 1:6
- Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical record system

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in a complex care unit, including MedSurg and orthopedic trauma patients.
- Monitor patients' telemetry and manage dysrhythmias as needed.
- Administer medications, blood products, and manage IV lines, central/PICC lines, and feeding tubes.
- Participate in rapid response or code situations as required.
- Implement wound care protocols, including the use of wound vacs and adherence to isolation precautions.
- Float to other units as necessary, providing support across diverse patient populations.

Compliance / Notes
- Scrub color: Navy bottoms; navy or white tops.
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.
