Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of recent front desk experience in a Primary Care medical office (required)
• Strong knowledge of medical office workflows, scheduling, and patient check-in/check-out procedures
• Experience verifying insurance eligibility and collecting patient payments
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to a long-term position
• Experience with EMR systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional experience
• Manage patient check-in and check-out processes
• Answer incoming calls and assist patients with scheduling and questions
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
• Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments
• Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR system
• Scan, upload, and organize patient documentation and incoming faxes
• Communicate effectively with providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow
• Assist with general front office duties as needed
